Marathon provides state-of-the-art mailing services that make it easy and affordable to create and process business-building direct mail campaigns. When combined with Marathon’s superior quality printed products, our high-speed mail processing service will assure the best possible presentation and delivery of your personalized marketing message.

Undeliverable mail costs you money in postage and printing. CASS Certification is a process where each address in a mailing list is verified against the USPS database of all valid addresses in the United States to ensure deliverability. If enough information exists for the address, CASS Certification can verify the record or correct it by identifying missing, misspelled or incorrect components and standardizing the address. After CASS Certification, the mailing can be “Presorted” to achieve automated mail rates by adding ZIP+4 codes, carrier route codes, and/or delivery point bar codes. While CASS Certification cannot guarantee occupancy, it does ensure that every address is deliverable. CASS Certification and Presorting are required to take advantage of bulk mail processing fees.

$60 setup charge plus $3.50 per 1,000 addresses

Addressing, Postage, and Mailing Charges:

  • Setup Charge: $28
  • Bulk Bar Coded: 29¢ each
  • Bulk Non-Bar Coded: 35¢ each
  • First Class: 42¢ each
  • 4¼x6 cards are automatically sent First Class at a rate of 29¢ each plus $28 setup after CASS Certification

Quantities over 10,000 pieces:

$28 setup charge plus 2¢ per name plus actual postage—
call for postage estimate

Additional Mailing Services:

  • Printing Labels from Customer-Furnished File: 3¢ each
  • Merge/Purge Files & List Manipulation: $20 per list plus $1.50 per 1,000 names
  • Hand Typing Name, Address, etc.: 24¢ per name
  • Tabbing: 3¢ per tab

    The design of your mail piece may require one or more tabs, especially when mailing a brochure or multiple-page booklet without an envelope. Please verify with an account representative when placing order.
