Full-Color Yearbooks

Covers are flood UV coated and are printed on the inside front and back at no additional charge. Call for pricing on Event Books, Dance Books and Directories. Volume pricing available! If you publish a large volume of books each year, call for Marathon's special volume pricing - (800) 228-0629.

School Picture Posters

Each poster coordinates with preproduced flyer designs. Posters provide space to write in picture date(s) and location.

Covers

Marathon offers CUSTOM, FULL-COLOR covers at NO CHARGE.

Marathon also offers STANDARD cover designs which can be imprinted with the school name and year.

Personalization

Marathon’s advanced variable-data technology allows personalization of individual copies of many publications. Your customers will be thrilled at the opportunity to see their own name, portrait, signature or custom artwork displayed on the cover of their own book (minimum order 50 books). Please note: Cover personalization is NOT available for Hardback books.

Marathon will not be responsible for errors if data provided by the photographer is inaccurate or linked to an incorrect photo.

Binding

Marathon Press offers the most popular binding options for your publication. For other binding styles, ask for details and a price quote.

Your choice of binding must be applied to ALL copies — not as a selective option. Add 3 weeks additional production time for hardbacks.

Digital File Submission

We welcome Pelican Software, InDesign, Pagemaker, QuarkXpress and Photoshop files which have been properly formatted to Marathon specifications. For specifications, please visit http://www.marathonpress.com/fileprep. Any additional file preparation work is charged at $65 per hour. Pagemaker files may incur additional charges. Call for details.

Proofs

One proof will be provided at no charge.
Shipping charges apply.
• Additional Proofs ........................................$25.00 each plus shipping
Expedited shipping of proofs, if required, is an extra charge.

Proof Corrections

Customers are urged to proofread carefully and make any necessary corrections prior to submission to avoid additional charges.
• Copy changes / corrections ................... $45.00 per hour
Major changes may delay the anticipated ship date.

Bleeds

No charge when formatted to Marathon specifications.

Shipping

For books, UPS Ground service is standard, and will be added to all shipments. Contact us with your special requests or for other shipping options.

Terms

One-half of total order is due when layout is submitted. Balance due when books are approved. We accept MasterCard and Visa. A $60 deposit is due (applies to order) when Pelican Software is registered and activated.
