What time of day are the workshops?
Most of the workshops are held from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the first day and 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the second day.
What does my registration fee cover?
The registration fee of $295 includes workshop materials, worksheets, a two-day seminar, and lunch both days.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. The workshop fee of $295 covers up to two people from the same studio. One additional staff member may attend for $100–two additional people from the same studio may attend for $150.
Can we get an extra set of workshop materials?
Additional sets of workshop materials are available for $295 each set.
Is there a discount for MVP and MBP members to attend?
Current MVP and MBP members in good standing who have previously attended a Marathon Marketing Workshop may attend the Strategic Marketing Plan Workshop for $100 for an individual and $150 for two people from the same studio. Additional studio employees may attend for $150 for up to two people.
Is there a special room rate at the hotel?
A special rate has not been negotiated with the hotel for workshop participants.
Is there a refund if I’m unable to attend?
Unfortunately there are no refunds once a registration has been made. A limited number of reservations are accepted into each workshop.
Why is a laptop required?
During the Strategic Marketing Plan Workshop, you will participate in classwork involving a set of electronic worksheets which will guide you in developing your strategic marketing plan.
What is MAP?
MAP is Marathon’s Marketing Activity Program. Once you’ve completed a Strategic Marketing Plan Workshop, MAP is the ideal step in taking all that you’ve learned and putting it into action. Members of MAP receive individual guidance from their personal team including a Marketing Facilitator who keeps their marketing moving forward according to the marketing plan completed at the workshop. The entire workshop fee of $295 can be applied to the MAP enrollment fee if you choose to join within 30 days of attending a Strategic Marketing Plan Workshop.
What's the best way for me to register?
The best way to guarantee a seat is to register online as soon as possible.
What do I need to show at the door to get in?
Please bring your email confirmation to show the registration desk. If you don't have your confirmation, you can give your name to the people at the registration table, and they will verify you are on the registration list.
One of the people I originally registered cannot attend. May I bring someone else in their place?
Yes, just have them check in at the registration table with the name of the original attendee.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend you arrive a half hour early so that you have time to check in and get settled.
Can I arrive late for the seminar?
We highly recommend that you arrive promptly. Due to the structure of the schedule, you will miss valuable information by arriving late. In addition, class exercises build on one another and it is difficult for late arrivals to participate fully without having completed each exercise in succession.
Can I videotape the workshop?
No audio or videotaping is permitted.
Will I be able to purchase products at the workshop?
Yes, you may place orders for Marathon and BellaGrafica products during breaks.
May I bring my spouse with me since they are just coming along for the ride?
Anyone attending the event will need to have a paid reservation. This includes staff or other members from your studio and/or spouses.
Will there be someone that can answer my marketing questions?
